SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING Forest Highlands is considered an active, peaceful and safe community. To help maintain the stated, the Forest Highlands Security Department considers themselves as “The Eyes and Ears of the Community.” If the many members and guests that enjoy Forest Highlands witness something unusual, a call to the Security Department helps the Security Team respond accordingly to the reported situation. Two closing points: 1) If there is an emergency taking place, immediately call 911 and 2) If something appears out of the ordinary, call Security at (928) 525-9090. Forest Highlands Development Standard 3.13 addresses exterior and interior lighting. Below are two paragraphs commonly not followed:
4. Exterior lighting controlled by motion-sensing devices shall remain on for no more than 10 minutes after the motion has ceased. Fixtures containing motion sensors shall be positioned to prevent false activation due to motion by natural causes (such as wind). 9. Decorative holiday lights may be installed no earlier than the weekend following Thanksgiving, and shall be removed no later than January 30th of the following year. 10. Decorative exterior lights for parties and group gatherings (weddings, funerals, family events, etc.) shall be temporary and shall be extinguished by midnight. Decorative exterior lights may be installed no earlier than one week before the event and shall be removed within one week after the event.
