CLUB NEWS RED FLAG WARNING A “Red Flag Warning” is determined by local fire authorities and is issued when the fire danger ranges from high to extreme and the wind exceeds 25 MPH. When a fire starts under these conditions fire authorities expect extreme fire behavior and difficulty in stopping its spr ad. This precaution provides us with an added degree of safety and insures the community is aware of the dangerous conditions. This precaution provides us with an added degree of safety and ensures the community is aware of the dangerous conditions. • Smoking is only permitted in hom s and closed vehicles. Smoking is not permitted on the golf courses or open areas. • No open fires, no fireplace fires, no barbecue fires with charcoal. Gas barbecues are permitted. • No entry into Natio al Forest areas. • No gas powered chain saw use without spark arrestors. • Do not drive vehicles in tall weeds. • Operating welders or other torch devices outdoors.
