Forest Highlands 2025-2026 Guidebook

HOLIDAY BBQ POLICIES

HOLIDAY BBQ POLICIES The holiday BBQs are where our culinary staff shines, offering some of the most creative and tasty food options of the season! No one throws a party like Forest Highlands, so to ensure our members have exceptional experiences, we have implemented the following policies. WRIST BANDS Holiday wristbands are provided to all members, children and guests who have registered to enjoy the food at our annual Holiday BBQs. The wristband permits unlimited access to the food stations during the entire duration of each BBQ. Wristbands are not permitted to be removed or swapped with other guests during the event. In order to eat at the food stations, all members and guests must have a BBQ wristband on. Wristbands may be picked up at the Canyon Concierge desk prior to the BBQs. OPEN SEATING POLICY Both the food and beverage staff and the recreation team collaborate to organize what becomes the biggest parties of the season! To ensure the staff can perform all of their set-up tasks, members will not be permitted to arrive early to reserve seats. Early arrival for event lawn seating will begin at 3pm with the event starting at 4pm. TENT SEATING* All tent seating will now be reserved at the Holiday BBQs. This is to help alleviate some of the disputes over the correct procedure for reserving these tables during the holiday event. Each table seats 10 people and can be reserved for $150. Tables are sold on a first come, first served basis.

The registration tent will have all of the seating options available that day. Pre-purchase can be done by calling the Canyon Clubhouse; 928-525- 1100. Please check weekly emails to see when tent seating reservations open.

COVERED PATIO PREFERRED SEATING SILENT AUCTION* Bid on a table on the patio and enjoy your own service staff and a private bar!

Our patio seating option gives members an opportunity to reserve a table on the Canyon Covered Patio during the holiday BBQs. For each BBQ, we will offer a silent auction where members can place a monetary bid for a Canyon patio table. There will be a lock-box at the concierge desk at the Canyon to collect bids. Interested members should submit their name, member number, number of seats (no more than 10 per entry), and their auction dollar amount. This will be the total amount you pay for the table so the value of the table is totally determined by you. The Forest Highland’s Food and Beverage Director will select the highest bids until all patio tables are sold out. Winners will be notified three days prior to the BBQ and all money raised will be donated to the Forest Highlands Foundation.

This system gives everyone a fair chance to win a spot on the patio and raise additional funds for the Forest Highlands Foundation. Please check weekly emails to see auction start dates.

* BBQ wristbands are not included and will need to be purchased to enjoy the food.
