CIT Recertification Class (Counselor in Training) April 19, May 18, May 28, June 18, July 9, July 23 Times differ, check online or call Recreation for specific times Aspen Rec Center $15/member Ages 10+ Keep your CIT skills sharp! All existing Counselors in Training are required to join us for a refresher course which will help CITs stay up to date on child care best practices, CIT program policies, and continue to be listed on the current season’s CIT List. Parents will be required to briefly meet with the instructor after the class. Ages 4+ At 7:30pm, free Lawn Games ends and Extended Lawn Games begins! We’ll play outside until dusk, then keep the fun going inside until everyone is ready to head home! Registration recommended but not required. Minimum 2 children. If registration is below the minimum, pricing will be calculated according to Recreation babysitting rates. Begins Thursday, May 23
2-3 years w/ adult supervision, CIT, or babysitter. A special Lawn Games space, just for the littles! Bring your 2-3 year olds to play with special toddler- specific toys, games, and activities every Friday during the Canyon Cooldown! All children must check in to the playspace with a parent, guardian, or babysitter. Any children who are potty trained may check in with a CIT (Counselor in Training) who has been certified by the Recreation Department. Contact Recreation in advance to book a babysitter or to get the approved CIT list. Registration recommended but not required . Begins Friday, May 23

Ages 4+ Where kids can be kids! Kids can come run off their energy and play new games with us on the lawn while you enjoy dinner at the clubhouse each Thursday through Saturday night. Games like dodgeball, soccer, and all kinds of tag--plus calm activities like coloring--are available to keep the kids entertained for hours! Registration not required. Begins Thursday, May 22
C.I.T Class (Counselor in Training) April 19, May 18, May 28, June 18, July 9, July 23 Times differ, check online or call Recreation for specific times Aspen Rec Center $30/member Ages 10+ Interested in making some extra cash this summer? Counselors in Training assist Counselors with children 2-3 years old who are potty trained and want to attend our kid programs like Kid’s Camp and Lawn Games. Counselors are trained by the Recreation Staff and get first hand experience working with children. Once certified, a CIT makes anywhere from $4-5 an hour and is paid directly by the guardians of the child being watched. Parents will be required to briefly meet with the instructor after the class. Private CIT classes available upon request!
