Dear Members,
The Team and I are so excited to get underway with another jam packed, diverse, and exciting season at tennis! As many of you know, we opened our new tennis facility last season, with fantastic feedback from you all. Now that we are starting our second full season with our expanded space, we hope that you will enjoy not only the on-court programming we have planned for this season, but the opportunity to take advantage of the many events and programs that will allow you to enjoy the outdoor pavilion and lounge overlook. A first for us this season is our HIGH-COUNTRY PRO/AM weekend on June 20- 21. This will be preceded with a 3-day BOOTCAMP to get you ready to perform at your best, as you play alongside a regional Professional and your fellow players. Our already popular JUNIOR PROGRAM will have the addition of match playing opportunities for those kiddos that enjoy LIVE BALL and match practice. Speaking of LIVE BALL , we are adding it to the adult programming as well, along with a Ladder League for OPEN LEVEL players from 3-5pm on Saturday’s. This will be an invitation ONLY event. If you think you are at the OPEN LEVEL (former College or 4.5 & above USTA) please reach out to glakey@fhgc.com. We had our first MAHJONG SOCIAL last season, which was a great success. This season we will be offering two themed Mahjong Socials. we are bringing you two MAHJONG themed events this summer. Our all-popular MEMBER/GUEST events are back in September with an added mixed event in early October, called DUELING DOUBLES.

And lastly, we have added a new program called ONE-ON-ONE DOUBLES which will take place on Saturday’s during June and July. This is an excellent opportunity for you to work on those essential, high percentage skills necessary to be successful in doubles. Ashlee, Garrett, and I, along with our new Pro Shop Manager Cindy and seasonal merchandiser, Debbi look forward to opening our Pro Shops with a new range of clothing, along with some of the top sellers from last season. Don’t forget that we are the perfect spot to host your family and friends for a specialized event, i.e. Bootcamp, Mixer, parties both on and off the court, so be sure to speak to me to plan your special event with us.
