ONE-ON-ONE DOUBLES TENNIS (Ghost Doubles) is a crosscourt serve-and-volley Singles game including the Doubles alley. Players are required to serve-and- volley on both serves or there is a loss of point; half volleys are allowed. Players are awarded a two-point bonus for winning volleys and overheads the opponent cannot touch or reach. This is a great mix of singles and doubles. Matches are short and the discipline of the crosscourt placements and creativity of using angles, the middle, lobs, volleys and well-placed groundstrokes add to the game’s challenges. For decades, top ATP/WTA professionals have played crosscourt, serve-and-volley points to prepare for their doubles matches. What this game can achieve for you is to obtain all-court confidence. It is a player’s transition game that can make the winning difference, and playing One-On-One Doubles takes the fear out of coming to the net. Trophy and bragging rights weekly!

Join Garrett and Nicole as we place you on a court to enjoy social doubles or mixed doubles. We will rotate partners and formats as you enjoy the chance to play against different players. Though we start at 9am, you are welcome to “drop-in” and you never need to register. (Drop-in will be cancelled when there is an event scheduled).
