benefits) constitute nearly 70% of the total expenses of the Club. In just the past 7 years (2017-2023) the minimum wage has more than doubled from $8.05 to $16.80 and although we have been able to offset roughly 35% of that overall expense increase through revenues generated from increased usage of the club during that time, it is not possible to offset the upcoming wage increase and the continued inflationary increases without a similar increase in the monthly dues. A recent club benchmarking research report states that 75% of the 681 clubs that participated in the survey will be increasing their dues by 8% or more in 2023 so we are certainly not alone as clubs across the country are facing similar wage and inflationary pressures. Our goal will be to continue to provide those services, activities and amenities that enhance the value of your membership at Forest Highlands.
