have it completed in the fall. Looking ahead, we are still hopeful to begin work on the 300,000-gallon effluent wastewater storage tank in late summer (located near our current wastewater treatment plant), with the goal of completing the project by late fall. Both projects were deemed high priorities from our recent water study and are crucial for maintaining the high quality of our community facilities and utility services. We are thrilled to share the tremendous success of the recent Forest Highlands Foundation Gala fundraising event which took place on Saturday, July 13th. As someone who was in the room witnessing the program, I have no doubt everyone in attendance was as inspired as I was by the remarkable amount that was raised. This event showcased the generosity and commitment of our members to making a positive impact not only within our beloved community but also for numerous initiatives and programs directly benefiting the greater Flagstaff community. Building on the momentum of the Gala, the Foundation is planning to host a “New Member” Open House in the month of August. We encourage all members who have joined the club in the last five years and may not yet be fully aware of the Foundation’s tremendous mission to attend. In closing, I want to emphasize how truly special our community is because of the pride and passion each of you brings to our community. Your enthusiasm, participation, support, and genuine appreciation create an environment for our team members to push themselves to always exceed your expectations. Here’s to celebrating the wonderful memories we’ve already made in 2024 and to the exciting times ahead as we finish our summer season and transition into fall and winter. Thank you for supporting us in making Forest Highlands so remarkable.
