DOGS ARE TO BE ON A LEASH
Rules of Forest Highlands require dogs to be on a leash; the rule is consistent with the Coconino County Leash laws. Violations of the leash rule/law could lead to a Forest Highlands fine and on a more significant level, Coconino County Animal Control could cite dog owners and county violations would result in a larger fine.
REMINDER , dogs are not allowed on the golf courses (during golfing hours or non-golfing hours), dogs are to remain on golf course cart paths. It goes without saying, but please clean up after your dog.

SOLD A VEHICLE OR CHANGED A WINDSHIELD?
Please help the Security Department update your electronic dwellingLIVE resident/guest profile. A few reasons records are inaccurate: • A new vehicle is purchased, and someone moves a transponder from the sold vehicle to the purchased vehicle. It is important to update Security with the vehicle(s) change • Windshield replacement. It is important to let Security know the transponder was not taken off the replaced windshield because the transponder remains active and could be used for unauthorized access into Forest Highlands • Acquiring a vehicle and placing a new transponder on the vehicle; normally this means a vehicle has been sold. It is important to update Security so the sold vehicle can be removed from your personal dwellingLIVE profile. This type of action prevents unauthorized access to Forest Highlands.
WALK AND RUN FACING ONCOMING TRAFFIC
When out for a run or walk, the safest way to do so is to be on the same side of the road as on-coming traffic. The suggested approach provides the pedestrians with a visual of vehicles, should the vehicle move in the direction of the pedestrian(s).
