In Memoriam We are deeply saddened to share the loss of two cherished members of our Forest Highlands community, Robert George Miskar and Leonard William Huck, who both passed away in July.
Leonard William Huck December 4, 1922 - July 7, 2024
Leonard William Huck passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 101. Len was one of the most impactful Presidents and Emeritus members of the Forest Highlands Foundation Board. He also served as the second President of the Forest Highlands Homeowners Association in 1995 and 1996. His contributions to our community are commemorated with a road named in his honor, which runs along the driving range leading to the Meadow Clubhouse. Leonard led a remarkable life, marked by his dedication and service. He was a treasured member of Forest Highlands, known for his kindness, wisdom, and unwavering spirit. Leonard’s legacy is one of generosity and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, and we honor his memory with profound respect.

Robert George Miskar October 3, 1944 - July 14, 2024
Bob Miskar passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, after a long illness that began earlier this year. Bob was an avid golfer who played on some of the most iconic courses in Scotland, Ireland, and of course, here in the US. His passion for the game and his friendly spirit made him a beloved member of our community. There will be a celebration of Bob’s life this fall, where friends and family can gather to honor his memory. Memorial contributions in his honor can be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.
