With the promise of such great professional staff, programming and the beauty of a Forest Highlands summer, comes the most important member vote to secure the funding that has been set aside for our new permanent courts. As pickleball players, you need to get every one of your friends and fellow members to vote to have the Real Estate office site become our new facility. Without a 66% vote, we will not be successful with our endeavors. This is how Forest Highlands CCR’s are set up, which means we cannot just decide to build something without the required vote from 66% of our membership. What we need to relay to ALL members, whether enthusiasts or not are these facts: • NO assessment, meaning NO additional cost for new facility • Money has already been set aside • Home values will increase, this per the latest Architectural Digest, March 2, 2022. • Pine Canyon and Flagstaff Ranch each have 4 permanent courts Here’s to us continuing to prove why Forest Highlands is the finest community in the South West!

March 2, 2022 A Pickleball court (or three) can now claim to being the hottest sports amenity in high-end real estate developments today. A decade ago, golf was a key amenity driving residential sales, especially when it came to vacation homes, but, recently, buyers are more attracted to pickleball—a combination of tennis, ping-pong, and badminton. In fact, it’s been called America’s fastest-growing sport and in 2021 it saw a 39% increase in participation, according to the Sports & Fitness Industry Association’s 2021 Topline Participation Report.
