Teen Takeover FREE Wednesday, July 17 • 7-9pm

Ages 13+ It’s time for a Teen Takeover at the Rec Center facilities! On select Wednesdays in Summer, the Family Recreation Center will be reserved for teens 13 and up to play Xbox, play in the pool, and have the whole place to themselves!

Ages 7+ Do you love solving problems using logic & strategy while also having fun? Join chess club today and learn the basics of one of the most popular games in the world! Minimum 6 kids to move forward with club each day.

Kids Chopped Competition #2 That’s A Wrap! Saturday, July 27 • 6 - 9pm $40, AGP: $50 (Dinner included) Aspen Rec Center Join the Forest Highlands Recreation staff for a night of food and fun! Participants will be provided with limited ingredients and tasked to make meals for our taste testers (Rec Staff) in the style of the TV show, CHOPPED, to find the best young chef at Forest Highlands! Dishes will be rated on Taste, Presentation, and Overall Creativity. Minimum 6 kids, Max 24.

Ages 5+ Time to hit the bricks! Come build your own masterpiece creations, try to complete fun Lego challenges, and more! Minimum 6 kids to move forward with club each day.

Ages: 7+ Got talent? Show us! Join Forest Highlands first official Talent Show this summer. Auditions & practice will take place July 15-19. The big Showcase will be on July 20 at the Meadow Event Lawn.

All artwork from Creative Spirits Art Camp will be displayed in our first Youth Art Exhibit! Stop by the Aspen Room on July 29 to see the awesome projects created by the youth of Forest Highlands! Volleyball Club July 29 - August 2 • 2:30 - 4pm Drew Annan Sports Park $20/kid/day, AGP: $30/kid/day Ages 10+ Ready, Set, Spike! Play fun games to brush up your skills, then play team games for a little friendly competition! Minimum 6 kids to move forward with club each day.

Ages 7+, all children younger must ride with an adult.

Bike Safety Certifications are back for another year! Bring your bike and biking gear so we can practice hand signals and check your equipment for safety issues. Program includes information on general bike safety, Forest Highlands’ rules of the road, and evaluating proper equipment, ending with a supervised physical test and a short paper test in order to receive a Forest Highlands bike license and permit for riding around property!

This is a voluntary program in hopes to educate children on how to ride safely around property.
