the middle of the season was tricky, but the way our pickleball “crew” and members handled it, made it a very smooth transition. My thanks go out to Ashlee Candelaria, Lead Pickleball Professional, who did a magnificent job preparing the programming, teaching lessons, and building relationships within our community and the pickleball industry at large. Ethan Fraser, Assistant Professional was in his first season as a pickleball pro and did a fantastic job of teaching lessons, managing the desk staff, and running events. I have been in the teaching profession for 31 years and I can tell you that we have very talented and professional staff! September is a beautiful month on the courts, which made our Labor Day Social a wonderful morning of tennis. We played “Hello/Good-bye” and saw a good mixture of levels and interest groups, come together to celebrate on the courts.
No partner required. Doubles and mixed doubles games, rotating with different partners while scoring points. Top point earners will play off for the trophy. Proceeds to benefit Breast Cancer. Snacks and drinks provided. $40 members/$50 guests. Registration mandatory and closes October 11.

Our final event of the season is being held to support Breast Cancer. It is called “DINK FOR PINK” and will be held on Sunday, October 8 from 9:00 – noon. This mixer will consist of fun games, good competition, and a chance to sit down, have a bite to eat and toast the end of our season. Registration closes on October 1 for preparation purposes. September is the month we work on the budget for 2024. Our survey will go out at the end of the month. Please let us know what we did well and what you think we could improve on. We will still be open during October and will run open play on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 9:00am – noon.
PRO SHOP HOURS: Saturday & Sunday: 9am - 11am
The courts are booked for OPEN PLAY until October 14, 2023.
