UPCOMING EVENTS “DINK&PLAY” MIXER Thursday, July 21 • 4-6pm
I am excited to say that Pickleball is alive and well at Forest Highlands! Our 6 days of open play pickleball has been well attended, especially with the addition of open play on Sunday’s between 1-3pm for our 2.0-3.0 players which complements our 8-10am for our 3.0+-4.0+ members. We have a full house on Sunday’s for our Club Pickleball League for 3.5-4.0 players and we are looking forward to following up with our Forest Highlands Pine Pickleball League which takes place between Flagstaff Ranch, Continental and ourselves at the three different locations. We have 12 spots each week for our FHGC team that will consist of: (3) 4.0 men and (3) 4.0 women; (3) 3.5 men and (3) 3.5 women. Continental already has their team in place and it is strong! The league will start run from July 24-September 18th. Registration is NOW OPEN! We will need at least a team of 12 people in each level so that we can provide a full roster each week. REMINDER: we have 3 certified Pickleball Professionals if you would like a private, semi-private or small group lesson. Saturday’s are our club clinic days for beginners, intermediate’s and advanced. This is an opportunity to learn the game, enhance your skills with well-run drill clinics focusing on specific skills for pickleball. Contact the Pro Shop to register for a lesson or skill clinic.
PICKLEBALL CLINICS Beginner Clinics 101 & 102 Saturdays • 1-2pm (101) 2.5-3.0 Saturdays • 2-3pm (102) 3.0 + We will rotate weekly between different venues. Teams will consist of 6 men and 6 women in the 3.5 and 4.0 level. If you sign up for the league, it does NOT mean you have to play every week. You will give your availability to the Team Captain, Nicole Chambers. Cost for the league will per time, not a season rate. There will be 3 matches each week consisting of best out of 3 games to 11. Cost: Per league day TBD Enjoy an evening on the courts with organized social doubles play. Bring a pot-luck dish to share. We will have wine and beer available to purchase. Registration closes 24 hours before play. Cost: $10 members/$20 guests PINE PICKLEBALL LEAGUE July 24 - September 18 Sunday’s at 2:30pm.

DROP-IN TIMES We will line tennis court 3 on a Thursday evening, providing an additional 2 courts for our Friday and Social drop-in sessions.
