MEMBER SURVEY SECTION V – FITNESS, RACQUETS & AQUATICS
We are nearing the conclusion of the monthly reviews of the Member Survey responses. This month features highlights from Section 5 that covered activities in the fitness, spa, racquets, and aquatic areas of the Club. In July, we will review the final Section 6 covering feedback on Potential Future Improvements. As a quick reminder, the Member Survey had been sent out to all primary and spouse memberships on November 4, 2021 and responses were collected through December 1, 2021. A total of 694 individuals responded to the survey representing 517 households or 61% of our 860 memberships. Fitness & Spa Operations - Participation in each of the activity areas varied with the greatest number of respondents participating in use of the fitness facilities (74%) to the least number participating in tennis (21%). Members are very satisfied with the fitness facilities and operations. Almost all of the fitness ratings are 4.0 or higher, with high satisfaction percentages. Eighty-four percent (84%) of respondents are satisfied with the size of the fitness facility and 88% are satisfied with its appearance. All of the fitness satisfaction ratings are above or equal to the average ratings from other clubs, and none are below the private club industry benchmarks. Tennis & Pickleball Operations - While members are well satisfied with the condition of the courts and the tennis programs, one in four are dissatisfied with the availability of courts. There is also significant member dissatisfaction with all aspects of the Pro Shop (25% to 35% dissatisfied). All aspects of Pickleball received low ratings. The lowest rating, with most respondents dissatisfied, is for the availability of Pickleball courts.
Canyon & Meadow Pools – All of the satisfaction ratings for the Meadow and Canyon Pools are close to the average ratings from other clubs. In general, the ratings for the Canyon Pool are lower than the corresponding ratings for the Meadow Pool. For example, 83% of respondents are satisfied with the overall appearance of the Meadow Pool and only 4% are dissatisfied, compared to 69% and 11%, respectively, for the Canyon Pool.
