A total of 132 comments were made regarding this section with a significant number requesting a hot tub at the Canyon pool and additional Pickleball courts. The Canyon pool renovation planned for 2021 included the addition of a hot tub but was postponed due to bid estimates coming in 300% greater than what had been budgeted. This enhancement is still under consideration and will become a greater priority in 2023. Several comments requested that the Canyon pool be designated as “adult only.” Unlike a country club, a homeowner association is legally not permitted to impose age restrictions on use of Club facilities unless there is a danger related to their use by a specific age group. Therefore we cannot restrict use of the Canyon pool by families.

In order to provide additional parking spaces in the Canyon parking lot we have created dedicated spaces for smaller vehicles such as UTV’s and NEV’s. These spaces are narrower than regular parking spaces so we encourage regular size cars and trucks to leave these spaces for these smaller alternative vehicles. The narrower spaces are located in the first two “bays” on the left hand side of the lot. NEV PARKING SPACES at CANYON
