Timing of the dance party may have been an issue considering it was placed at the beginning of August when everyone is heading back to the valley to get their kids to school. Although, because of limited availability of the Club Room on Saturdays, the Saturday it was scheduled on was one of the only options for this year. There was mention of trying a different date next year.s. ● F&B Outlets- ○ Canyon Dining room - Covers were up in all areas, being 16% up for dinner. Check averages are also up overall by 15%. ○ Cool Down - Since there were 5 cool downs in June and only 4 in July, it looks as though sales were down in July, but we are still averaging about $8,300 in sales for cool downs in the month. Still a great figure. We have also been lucky that not many cool downs have been rained out this year as compared to last year. ○ Meadow Dining room - Dinner was up 21% in sales. ○ Meadow takeout - Takeout was up 25%, possibly due to busier sit-down dinner reservations. When people can’t get in, they’re taking out more too. ○ Meadow pool - The pool is up about 30% overall in sales. Specifically, liquor purchases have been high, possible due to adding the bar to the pool deck, creating more convenience for liquor purchases. Ice cream sales have also been up by about 42%. ● Fall Hours of Operation- The pool snack bar will close at 6pm now instead of 8 because of monsoon season and the start of the school year making the pool less busy
