General Manager’s Report
No report was given today.
Wine Event
This is a new event offered to Wine Club members this year. 70-75 attendees for this event out of a maximum of 100. This event generated $70,000 in wine sales. Attendees enjoyed the event and Mark believes that it fills a certain niche for members seeking a smaller event offering higher end wines and different styles of wines. Due to the success of this event, it will be revisited next season with a possible date change. Some members found it difficult to attend because of school scheduling conflicts. Mark will look at alternate dates for this event.
Labor Day
1011 attendees 762 adults 249 children and 30/40 no charge. $21,000 in liquor sales. Survey results came back as mainly focused on children's events and having suitable activities for each age demographic or lack thereof. The survey results were good when referring to the Eagles tribute band with only 50 to 60 attendees arriving for the band only. Membership really liked the experience of a “big production” band and this format will be considered for future events. The controversial charging for Reserved Tent Seating was successful and even sold out, with a wait list. Tent Seating produced an extra $1500 that is used to defray the cost of rentals. We will continue to charge for tent seating in future events as policy. Fall Schedule
