Always communicate effectively with the members as well as team members. Know how to properly operate and clean all server equipment. (coffee and ice tea machines, bread warmer, etc.)
Know and are able to describe in detail the menus, daily specials and dessert specials to members including methods of preparation. Can punch in orders correctly and expeditiously on the P.O.S. system.
Keep work areas clean, orderly, and well maintained at all times.
Always use time effectively, pay attention to details and be consistent.
Have good knowledge of wines, cocktails and after dinner drinks.
Are familiar with the food handling guidelines of Coconino County and the liquor laws of Coconino County and the state of Arizona. Are familiar with the Forest Highlands facilities, services and hours of operation. Know what special events are coming up and be able to explain in detail to members.
Always be gracious in handling problems or member complaints.
Always practice proper beverage and wine service.
Can carry a tray and stack dishes on a tray correctly and comfortably. scrape, sort, and stack dishes in the dishwashing area.
Always clear table quickly and efficiently.
