Check drinks, bread, utensils Pre-bus: remove empty glasses, offer another drink. - Your eyes move faster than your feet!

Delivering the Food

-Begin with ladies and repeat menu item with description when placing in front of the guest.

ALWAYS BE OPEN TO MEMBER! USE YOUR LEFT HAND WHEN SERVING FROM THE LEFT YOUR RIGHT HAND WHEN SERVING FROM THE RIGHT

-Pepper grinder with ALL salads

-Check on drinks

"Are there any additional items that I can bring for you?"

Two Minute/Two Bite Check

NOT ACCEPTABLE = "Is everything okay?" If the response is less than great, use a follow-up question to find out what can be improved. "Is there anything we can do to improve it?" -"Does everything taste delicious?", "Is everyone enjoying?" or similar positively phrased question

-Check on drinks.

- Read the table and alert the Manager if guests seem disgruntled/less than thrilled about their experience/food.

Clearing Plates

-Clear plates from right side with right hand when possible (or open hand gestures)

-Never leave one person eating alone; we don't want them to feel rushed.

Any party less than 6, wait until everyone is done to clear.

-Use 2 words when clearing..

If you are sure they are done - "Allow me." If unsure - "May I?"

-Reset the tables with any necessary flatware for the next course (i.e. proper forks, knives)
