more one-one time with this new manager. He has been given a more in-depth description of his jobs role in the department and we have developed a plan for future growth for him. We will continue to actively market to our internal clients. House parties and smaller member events are still an important catering area. The revenue generated is good, but the member satisfaction created is tremendous. The lasting goodwill created by these events is priceless. The Chef Eddie dinner events and other intimate catering events really showcase our talented culinary programs and service talents.
SnackBars
We have 4 snacks bars on our property and these outlets are used to service golfers, pool patrons or members wanting quick service food options. These facilities need to have a menu and selections that can be easily prepared and travel well. Our goal for the snack bars are to offer unique food & beverage selections that inspire our members to purchase them. Presenting selections that are unique to Forest Highlands while also having quality traditional snacks offered. Highlights: ● We will again look to add new products concentrating on Items that can easily be eaten in a golf cart. Mediterranean Kefta - Asobi ● Hoagie Sandwiches made Eddies Way ● We want to enhance the chef & member cooking experience at the Canyon Stonehouse. ● The Meadow pool will only offer counter service Mon- Thursday. ● The bagel shop will move to the Meadow Pool snackbar also know as the Peaks Café. Meadow Sandtrap, & Canyon Stonehouse The new products we want to add will be focused on unique golf cart friendly food items. We would love to create unique options for our Golfers that distinguish us from the pedestrian food you often find in golf facilities. We created “pretzel dawgs” in the past but would like to find more options with less carbs and healthier fare. The other change is specific to the Stonehouse. We would like to have a more engaging Chef and/or Grill attendant to enhance sales from this area. Many members do not realize how quickly we can prepare food from the grill for our golfers or the selections we have available from this area. Chef Eddie will work in this area a few weekends and we will experiment with some new selections. ● We will again look to add new products concentrating on Items that can easily be eaten in a golf cart. Mediterranean Keftas or Asobis. ● We will look to add more cocktail options to the Canyon Stonehouse.
The Hole One Café 8:00am – 3:00pm
After the modifications we made last year, this area still contributes to the overall daytime production at the Canyon. Having a quick service food and beverage area for our golfers is a great asset for the Canyon. The
