If the ingredients require an explanation by the wait person, it is too fancy. We like good, old fashioned comfort foods not the latest fad the chef has come up with. Every lunch menu should have one good salad that includes fruit. The fruit salad in 2022 was great but not available in 2023.

The Stonehouse ice machine produces large sheets of ice that need to be chopped up before you can put them in our forest highlands water bottles. The old ice machine was much better.
Have the fish of the day actually be fresh that day. We have asked and found it was brought in 2 days earlier. Not acceptable.

Eddie is an exceptional chef and we love his menu items and specials. Service at Canyon was better this year than last, but Meadow continues to lack in service. The Food Truck food was not very good. I would pay more for better food.
More variety with less high end options
Rotate menu items with new items. Spice it up. It’s Arizona not Minnesota. More comfortable lounge. Quiet and comfortable seating. Alternatives to our packed noisy bar areas. The food truck offerings do not pull our family in; we'd love to support, but not interested in the fish truck, in particular. We wish the Hole in One Cafe allowed for a bit more customization (particularly often not having the aioli on everything, which is offensive to our kids, in particular (but also kind of, me . . . :)) We really miss breakfast being offered at the Canyon, too. Change up canyon dinner menu Serious lack of everyday food. Being on the property all summer, we often just want simple food. Unfortunately, we can rarely get food (restaurants and snack shops) without onions, sauces, spices or "chef's ego embellishments". Knowing that, we just skip it. Loss of service to us and loss of revenue to the club. Overall food is mediocre in both clubhouses. Prices could be justified, if quality improves. For now, they are high. Stop trying to do so many different cuisines; Italian, Mexican, Korean, Italian, Mediterranean etc. You end up with mediocrity. They are really variations of the same themes. Most foods have a heavy eastern Mediterranean iCnlfoluse nthce.gTahpebyeatrweeteono reicvhe.nue and expenses. We subsidize F&B too heavily.
