Due to the amount of texts going out, we will investigate putting on the golf cart signage daily. ● Meadow ○ The biggest change to the Meadow this season is the new, expanded outdoor dining patio. Even though seating has increased, dining cannot increase covers as the kitchen was not expanded and the flow will still have to be controlled. ○ Weekly theme dinners are still very successful. Taco Tuesday is the event that is slightly down, so we will introduce some new concepts during Taco Tuesday such as tequila tasting and margarita specials. ○ Lunch and Brunch - Lunch is busier at the Canyon than it is at the Meadow. Hopefully the new patio will draw members in for lunch. Chef Fred has great new menus. ● Snack Bars ○ No major changes were made to the snack bars. The Stonehouse has a new grill. Soup and Chili will now be served at all snack bars. Hours have been extended to 5pm as members continue to use them well into the afternoons. The Canyon’s Hole 1 Cafe was created for golfers, but provides breakfast to all. The Health department will not allow outdoor cooking at Hole 1 so all food is cooked in the kitchen and brought out. Hole 1 also serves pre-made “grab and go” sandwiches for lunch. A sink was put in as per the request of the health department. ● Meadow Pool ○ Meadow pool area is a coffee cafe, lunch with a grill area for food on the pool deck, and an ice cream shoppe. This summer a bar will be placed on the pool deck and weekends will have a grill menu since the kitchen is inadequate in size to prepare food for all members at the pool. ● Food Truck ○ The Food Truck will be parked at the Sports Park with different themes every weekend. Fridays will be a Fish Fry, Sunday will be the Smokey In the Pines BBQ, and Saturdays will rotate. Pre-orders will not be taken, it will be walk-up service. ● Kassidy’s Kafe ○ Kassidy will be back with her signature bagels and some new items for this season. ● Catering ○ Sales have been down, the 14th hole is providing challenges in selling the area. We have altered our pricing and are trying to market to higher end weddings. ● Special Events ○ Feedback on holiday BBQs have let us know that we need to do something to offer great serve and go food while preventing long lines at the food stations. This Memorial BBQ, we will have four separate burger stations so the burgers can come fresh off of the grill. Eddie will have his own station featuring special “Eddielicious” burgers. ● The Taste of Forest Highlands
