Family Olympics FREE Sunday, July 23 • 1 - 3pm Sports Park
Family Movies in the Park FREE July 21 • 7 - 9:30pm Meadow Sports Park Pop over to the Sports Park to enjoy the weather and watch a family friendly movie in the park! Bring chairs and blankets to stay warm and cozy. Check in begins at 7pm and the movie will start at 7:30pm! Minimum 4 families to move forward with event Adult & Family Bird Walk FREE All Ages Sunday, July 23 • 7:30am Meet @ Kachina Wetlands entrance off Paleo Pl. Take a bird walk at Kachina Wetlands with Christina Vojta, Audubon Steward for Kachina Wetlands! View ducks, herons, and ospreys up close with a spotting scope and learn about birds at one of Flagstaff’s premier birding locations. This is a great time to see migrating species as well as resident birds. No birding expertise is required, but bring binoculars if you have them! The path is a flat, dirt road and is wheelchair accessible. Dress for the weather, and be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle.
Go for the gold as we compete in a variety of field games, team sports, and relays! Dress to get wet. Minimum 4 families.
Family Lego Competition FREE Sunday, July 30 • 12pm Meadow Event Lawn Do you have what it takes to engineer the winning Lego structure? If you do, we invite you to participate in our 7th Annual Family Lego Competition! We provide the legos and instructions, and you bring your engineering skills and creativity! One structure per family. Build something unique to win!
