TEEN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Need volunteer hours for school, or just want to help give back to the community? Join Forest Highlands for teen volunteer opportunities throughout the summer, starting in April! Opportunities will include serving or packaging food donations, reading to children, helping at the Animal Shelter, and packing backpacks for Back-to-School Backpack Drives! Age limits, volunteer activities, and times will vary depending on the volunteer location.

Adult & Family Bird Walk FREE June 4 & July 23 • 7:30am Meet @ Kachina Wetlands entrance off Paleo Place
All Ages Take a bird walk at Kachina Wetlands with Christina Vojta, Audubon Steward for Kachina Wetlands! View ducks, herons, and ospreys up close with a spotting scope and learn about birds at one of Flagstaff’s premier birding locations. This is a great time to see migrating species as well as resident birds. No birding expertise is required, but bring binoculars if you have them! The path is a flat, dirt road and is wheelchair accessible. Dress for the weather, and be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle.
Adult Day Trips Fridays: September 8, 15, 22, and 29 • 11am - 1pm Meet at Meadow Parking Lot Field Trips aren't just for kids! Take the day and let us drive you to places around Flagstaff such as the movie theater, bowling alley, painting classes, library trips and more! Price: Dependent on day trip. Minimum 4 participants.
