Capital project updates: The pickleball project is the primary focus for all of the subs working on our projects in order to combat all of the snow delays we have experienced and the excessive amount of mud from the warmer temperatures. The current timeline continues to reflect the goal for substantial completion of the courts and parking lots by early May with fencing complete by May 15. The final component will be the temperature-dependent coating on the courts, so our conservative outlook is to have the courts available by mid-June. The renovation of the sales offices and pickleball clubhouse shows completion by the end of April since this is all interior work. Contract savings to date through value engineering remains slightly over $227K. The landscaping contractor has been selected and WLB is working to incorporate the recommendations of the Ad Hoc Committee into the site design for enhancing the landscaping and creating a more natural look & feel. The excessive snow has delayed the completion of the expanded patio at the Meadow, pushing it back to April 26. The completion of the restroom at the Covered Bridge Park is also being impacted by the excessive snow and the high priority of the pickleball project. It is estimated the restroom will not be complete until late June. As mentioned in the January VIP, a portable restroom will be available and the pond will remain accessible during construction. Also noted in the January VIP, construction of the new tennis pavilion was postponed to Fall 2023.

ANNUAL MEMBER MEETING Saturday, May 27 • 3pm at the Canyon Clubhouse and via zoom. The meeting will include a state of the Association report by the President, a financial recap of 2022 results and 2023 year-to-date by the Treasurer, a real estate review by Silverleaf Real Estate Group, and a report by the Foundation President, along with a Q&A opportunity at the end of the meeting.
