The Winter Season at Forest Highlands is in full swing and we have activities to take advantage of the fun (Recreation pages), keep you fit and active (Fitness Schedule), keep you warm & toasty (Dining pages), and make your visit to the High Country both relaxing and stress-free (Concierge page). If you have not been up to the Club since our most recent snowfall, allow me to share some photos of the spectacular snowy wonderland we have been enjoying the past few weeks. Snowfall totals through January 24 rank as the 3rd snowiest January on record at 60.4 inches. The Security team would like to encourage any homeowner who is not on our weekly House Watch program to be sure to check on your home. House Watch personnel are finding many instances of leaks resulting from ice dams on roofs. If undiscovered, these can lead to significant damage and the potential for mold. Information on our House Watch program can be found on page 23 or call the Gatehouse at 928-525-9090. Throughout the winter months the Leadership Team and Staff brainstorm activities, programs and special events for your Summer Season Calendar of Events. We have included a sneak peak of those events on the Calendar at a Glance on pages 10 & 11 so you can begin making your summer plans. The online calendar on the member website is currently being updated with all of the activities and programs for 2023. Along with the calendar, the Association Rules are being reviewed for updates and modifications. All Rule changes will be approved by the Board at their March 27 meeting and will be communicated in the April 1 Voice. At the recent January 23rd Board meeting officers for the Association and the Water & Wastewater utility companies were elected and Committee Chairs were appointed. Association Officers for 2023 are President Dirck Iacobelli, Vice President Dave Stearns, Treasurer Larry Aldrich and Secretary Marian Paoletti.
